Our Team

Akhil is an Investment Associate at LeapFrog, playing a key role in executing transactions in the digital financial services space in Asia.

He has advised a wide range of impact actors including global NGOs and fast-growing social start-ups in the areas of innovative financing mechanisms, impact measurement and credit underwriting.

Prior to joining LeapFrog, he worked with Yunus Social Business leading investments in multiple early-stage social enterprises in India and supported in launching the World Economic Forum’s Global Alliance for Social Entrepreneurship where he co-authored a report on the role of social enterprises in pandemic recovery. Previously, Akhil was as a leveraged finance banker with Goldman Sachs where he supported marquee deals in the European fintech and global TMT sectors, he started his career as a credit analyst with Deutsche Bank.

Akhil holds an MBA from London Business School, where he was a BK Birla Scholar, and a dual BE and MSc from BITS Pilani and is a certified Financial Risk Manager.
