Alessio de Gouveia

Investment Associate

Alessio is an Investment Associate within the Africa Financial Services Team. Prior to joining LeapFrog, Alessio was an Investment Banking Associate at Goldman Sachs primarily focussing on M&A advisory for sub-Saharan Africa transactions, as well as working closely with the equity and debt capital market teams. He began his financial services career at Investec where he gained substantial experience working in the leveraged finance, private capital and credit risk teams while completing his chartered accountant articles.

Alessio has a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Finance and Accounting, from the University of Cape Town. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
