Our Team

Fernanda is a Partner and Co-head of LeapFrog’s Asian financial services team, responsible for originating investments and driving value and growth across the firm’s diverse portfolio. With over 20 years of experience in private equity, she began her career at AIG Global Investment Group in London in 2002, shifting her focus exclusively to Asia in 2008, where she employs an active management approach. Her team’s mission is to enhance and scale the delivery of essential services to emerging consumers throughout the region, making portfolio companies attractive to strategics or the capital markets.

Prior to joining LeapFrog, Fernanda served as Managing Director at Developing World Markets, a pioneering impact asset manager based in the US, where she invested and managed private equity investments for two funds. She has invested in companies in Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Vietnam, where she has held Board seats and leadership roles managing diverse teams, Boards and senior staff.

Fernanda holds a Master of Science in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and a Master of Business Administration from the University of London (Imperial College). She was awarded a British Chevening Scholarship by the UK’s Foreign & Commonwealth Office and is fluent in three languages. Fernanda has worked across four continents and relocated to Singapore in 2013, where she resides with her husband and three sons.
