Irshaad Issufo

Investor Relations Officer

Irshaad Issufo is an Investor Relations Officer at LeapFrog Investments. He joined the firm in 2017 and works across LeapFrog’s investor relations, with a specific focus on fundraising and managing relationships with limited partners across the Emerging Consumer Funds.

Since joining, Irshaad has held a number of roles across LeapFrog’s investment and finance teams. Most recently he worked within the LeapFrog Strategic Africa Investments (LSAI) team, the platform established in partnership with Prudential Financial to invest in and manage blue-chip financial services companies across key African markets. He also contributed to the oversight and reporting of the platform’s investments, and strengthening the firm’s broader investment reporting and operational finance capabilities.

A chartered accountant with more than a decade of post-qualification experience, Irshaad began his career at EY and went on to advise businesses across Africa on financial management, due diligence and strategy. He holds a postgraduate diploma from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.
