James Burton
Head of Strategy
James joined LeapFrog in 2019 and is the Head of Strategy at LeapFrog Investments and runs both the Office of the CEO Andy Kuper and Office of the Chairman Dom Barton.
James brings to the role a breadth of experience in the financing and growth of organisations that leverage innovative technologies for social impact. He has consulted widely in the space, including helping BCG Digital Ventures to launch their first social impact start-up and senior members of the Swedish Nobel Family to develop initiatives to support and reward sustainable technologies.
Previously, James served on the personal staff of XPRIZE and Singularity University founder Peter Diamandis and as an analyst direct to the Chairman of Pacific Equity Partners, a leading Australian Private Equity firm.
James holds a Master of Science and an MBA from the University of Oxford, where he was a Pershing Square Scholar, and has contributed to both academic and professional literature on maximising the impact of capital allocated to early stage ventures.
