Our Team

Katherine Owens is the Associate Director, Impact Measurement and Management, Climate, responsible for the development of the firm’s climate impact focus, measurement of LeapFrog’s contribution to climate action and adaptation.  

Katherine joined LeapFrog from Ernst & Young’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services team in London, where she specialised in advising private equity firms and their portfolio holdings on embedding an ESG lens and sustainability into their business plans.

Prior to EY, Katherine spent five years at M-KOPA, a leading PAYG finance player unlocking asset-backed loans for the unbanked across Africa. During this tenure, Katherine served as the Sr. Manager for Business Development and Head of Research & Development, Market Research, Impact and ESG. Notably, she spearheaded the firm’s impact and ESG measurement and reporting practice and brought to market – from end-to-end – the company’s first impact reports.

Katherine holds an MBA from London Business School and a BA in Business Administration and Spanish from Rhodes College in the US.
