Ken is a key member of LeapFrog’s Africa healthcare investment team, responsible for driving dynamic deals and supporting value-creation initiatives within LeapFrog’s portfolio companies.

A high-performing professional Ken has experience in investment analysis and management and is passionate about businesses that create positive social impact within a fiduciary and market-return context. Prior to joining LeapFrog, Ken was with Medical Credit Fund – PharmAccess Group in Kenya, the only African fund dedicated to financing small-and-medium-sized healthcare facilities for low-income patients. Earlier, he worked at UAP Investments Ltd in Kenya, which offers comprehensive investment management and advisory services across East and Central Africa. He also has prior experience with PKF Kenya, a leading African firm, where he was involved in M&A transaction services and valuing and business modelling services.

Ken is a Certified Financial Risk Manager from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) and a CFA Charterholder from the CFA Institute in the United States. He holds a Bachelor of Actuarial Sciences from Jomo Kenyatta University in Kenya.
