Our Team

Serhat brings over 15 years of experience across private equity investing, investment banking, and operational leadership. His investment experience spans different stages and sectors including climate technologies, software, and financial services.

Before LeapFrog, Serhat was Head of Growth Investments at Seaya Andromeda, a European sustainability-focused fund, and previously helped establish and launch D4 Ventures, leading early investments in sustainability and financial services. Later, he was a Director at Just Climate, a climate fund established by Generation Investment Management, focused on scalable decarbonisation solutions in energy, industry, and transport, where he led research and investments in energy networks, data centres, building decarbonisation, and batteries.

Serhat has extensive investment and portfolio management experience, including board roles guiding sustainable growth and strategic development of portfolio companies. His geographic experience spans developed markets such as Europe and the US, as well as developing markets including Pakistan, Southeast Asia, and Turkey.

Earlier in his career, Serhat held operational leadership roles at Fiba Renewables, helping to build and scale the platform, and later served as a Vice President in Goldman Sachs’ Renewables and Infrastructure team, advising leading corporates and investment firms on strategic transactions.

Serhat holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York, US, and a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey.
