Vidyaranya Pilla
Investment Officer
Vidyaranya Pilla is an Investment Officer on our London team, focusing on financial services investments across Asia and global emerging markets. He is actively involved in managing portfolio companies such as Zepz, CarDekho, InsuranceDekho, BIMA, Auxilo and Electronica, and supports value creation initiatives spanning customer experience optimization, M&A and exit planning, including IPOs.
Prior to joining LeapFrog, Vidyaranya interned with KKR’s Global Impact Fund and B Capital in Singapore, focusing on growth-stage investments across APAC. Before that, he was an Investment Associate at Elevar Equity, where he led deal sourcing, execution, and portfolio management in financial services, education, and healthcare in India, and served as a board observer for companies including LEAD School, Varthana, Indifi, and CloudPhysician.
Earlier in his career, he worked at InCred Capital, a mid-market investment bank, as part of the M&A and fundraising team. He began his professional journey at TresVista, providing advisory services to investment firms.
Vidyaranya holds an MBA from INSEAD (France and Singapore) and a Bachelor of Business Management from GITAM University, where he graduated as a Merit Scholar. He has also passed Level I of the CFA Program.
